Nursery: ages 0-4

 

The nursery at Jericho Road is a critical part of a family’s worship experience on a Sunday morning. We offer this to parents who have children in the age range of 0 – 4 years of age.

 

Nursery workers are scheduled as much as they are willing and able to volunteer. Traditionally there is about a once/month or every other month rotation. If you are interested in volunteering as a nursery worker, please contact Tana Schwemin.

 

Nursery workers are required to have a background check.




Children’s ministry: ages 5-10

 

We place great value on our children’s ministry at Jericho Road Church. Our pastor’s wives, Adreanne Thornton and Jennifer Wagenmaker, lead the children’s ministry. Their hearts for children and ministry far outweigh the pressure of obligation of their husband’s roles at the church.

 

Children, ages 5 – 10, are dismissed mid-way through the worship service.

 

We are also working towards having a Vacation Bible School in the summer of 2011. If you are interested in serving or signing your children up, please contact Jennifer Wagenmaker or Adreanne Thornton.

 

There is an ongoing need for volunteers, teachers and worship leaders in the children’s ministry. Volunteers are required to have a background check. Scheduling is based on one’s availability and also the amount of volunteers already in place. Traditionally there is a once/month or every other month rotation. DV8: 5th - 12th grade

Jericho Road Church is proud to announce the launch of DV8, our Jr. High and Sr. High youth group, in the fall of 2010! There will be more information regarding weekly programs and activities to come.

Currently through the summer months, there is a weekly Bible study held on Tuesday's from 1 p.m - 3 p.m at the church which is led by our two youth interns, Brian Laxamana and Allison Duer! Feel free to contact either one of them if you have any questions or if you want to get involved! There will also be monthly events held throughout the summer.

We are currently looking for adult volunteers to be youth leaders beginning this fall! If you have a passion or desire to work in youth ministry, please contact Eric Wagenmaker for more information!
