How it all started...
God through our found Pastor Justin Thornton started Jericho Road Church as a church plant back in 2008 with the Christian & Missionary Alliance. It started with a small group of people in a living room. God kept growing the church where they needed to have service in various places like night clubs, bars, and finally landing in a traditional church building we are in now on 930 Creston St. We believe God is calling us to reach the lost, equip the found, and, send willing, to saturate Muskegon with the Gospel of Christ Jesus.
MOVING IN STEELE NEIGHBORHOOD
As a church we wanted to be in a neighborhood rather in building in th middle of nowhere. We wanted to be near people to be able to be the church and be the gospel to others. God answered our prayer by provided a miracle when an older congregation was looking to sell their building on 930 Creston St.
Where we are headed...
Where we are headed is simple. We are trying to saturate steele neighborhood, along with all of Muskegon with the Gospel.
